fantasy.jpgsports.jpgstrategy.jpgshooter.jpgdaredevil.jpggambler.jpghetup.jpgthinker.jpgSo, i’m off to flash on the beach on sunday thru wednesday in Brighton (just down the road actually) - so lemme know if you’re around for that So just back from FOTB08, had a great time, lots of very inspirational people there, that seem to be living the dream - good on ‘em- here are some of this last weeks illustrations for CNN - the gaming ones are based on the football guy on the sofa from a couple of weeks ago, the other ones are about business risks(a bit abstract, but hey!)

More illustrations to come later in the week as my sketchbooks busting to be scanned (excuse all the crossed out text, for some reason, wordpress went skitzo on friday when i tried to publish this) I also plan on using the word ‘GHETTO’ as much as poss this next week, blame GMUNK.

I went to a brilliant lecture/workshop hosted by Colin Moock on AS3 the other day, kindly put on by Adobe and partners to slowly introduce us designer/developers to the crazy world of object oriented programming - it was superb(even though it was 9 odd hours long), so i come back to work all enthused about AS3 - but i have to wait until i get my software upgrade. In the meantime i crack open the old Flash 8, spend a week coding an intricate interactive - and then Kev drops the bomb - the links don’t work in Firefox, now i don’t know whether its adobe or mozilla, but surely the simplest getURL command should work everywhere ? i mean it works in IE, and it works in firefox as long as the href is hardcoded into the command - but when it comes to pulling the address from an XML file -oooohno johnny, not me!

Any way - thats let off some steam, back to looking for a solution…..

Pics above are this weeks doodles, been a bit busy to upload them before now.
