So, only just got back into the swing of things after new year and snowboarding(which was amazing!) just random doodles here really from the joyous joys of taking the train to work every morning. Happy new year people.

 so i saw this story on the news the other night of a guy who cut his arm of with a pen knife (above the shoulder) when he got his fingers trapped in some machinery that he thought was going to explode - now call me stupid - but getting through your own arm with a pen knife would take a while, why not just remove the fingers? But the guy is a good story teller - very grusome details!

Ok, so after 7 faithful years of providing us with up to the second design news, kick ass sites and down right hilarity - Pixelsurgeon is no more - rest in peace my friend let’s hope design is kinky and K10K can hold the fort.

Here’s a quick doodle for xmas - not sure why - hey ho - spose i better get back into the swing of drawing, kinda lost motivation for it this month.

So I’ve been way-laid over the past week or two with work, illness and - strangest of all - reading! i haven’t read a book in, well, since i had to - but to my astonishment i’ve got hooked on the ‘His dark materials’ trilogy. I started reading ‘Northern lights’ on my girlfriends recommendation, and due to the fact the film is coming out next month - and had to go out and buy the other two. I’m sure i’ll have finished them next week and the daily doodles will be flowing again… any way, one doodle from last week, and some illustrations for Just imagine.

 
So here’s a couple of hallowe’en themed sketches - sleeping beauty and a crazed russian vampire thingy. No world weekly illustration this week as the subject was a bit too serious to make light of! Off for my senior designer interview soon, wish me luck!
