Bit of a backlog, as i’ve been way too hectic/lazy to upload any pictures for the last couple of weeks, but here is a selection of the better ones i’ve done in that time - no chance to add any color to them - maybe over the weekend.

So I’ve been way-laid over the past week or two with work, illness and - strangest of all - reading! i haven’t read a book in, well, since i had to - but to my astonishment i’ve got hooked on the ‘His dark materials’ trilogy. I started reading ‘Northern lights’ on my girlfriends recommendation, and due to the fact the film is coming out next month - and had to go out and buy the other two. I’m sure i’ll have finished them next week and the daily doodles will be flowing again… any way, one doodle from last week, and some illustrations for Just imagine.

 
So, after a day off ill, back to work, and here is this mornings dooodle of a striker(wasn’t going for likeness - more action pose, and i’m quite happy with the result) and i won’t tell you who sketch is of from monday night as i’m not sure it really looks like him.

I really do need to get some inks! WH Smiths on the way home methinks

  
Went a bit crazy this morning and did two - second one is a bit crap tho as the train decided to start shaking violently as i was inking (the britney one - her nose and mouth did look normal in pencils *honest*) - i’m happy wwith mmy pro boris for mayor pic, and really like my superhero-esque pin-up from last night, really should get around to coloring these in.

on another note - *glee* - the new Indi flick has a name : Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

 
It’s another one of those days that you just wanna lay in bed, dull and gloomy - wholey dreary - one thing that lightened my mood though was the picture of a dwarf with a hoover stuck to his *cough* you know what….read the story here…so had to draw that, and a pic of a woman paddling from last night…gimme some comments to cheer me up some one…please?

 
So it’s friday, which means i probably wont put anything up over the weekend, but here’s two more for the end of the week. Have a good weekend everyone

  
Got my bag back - yey - but went to the pub last night and once again didn’t scan my last few days work(but had alot more fun) - so from now on *sod it*  i’ll just use my crappy phone camera (love it really) to take pics of my daily  stuff, and if i do anything i really like, i may go back and scan it later (or just trace it in illustrator for coloring) - hope you like the latest offerings, i’m pleased with the Kiera one and that dude form ‘my name is earl’.

O.K. So i finally got around to uploading some of my work from the past month or so to the Daily Sketchbook gallery (to the right)…. i’ve still got the last 12 or so to do, but will get to that tonight (i hope) - i’d love to hear your comments so shout me by clickng the x comments link by this post…

After planning on uploading all of my recent sketchbook work over the weekend - i flaked… to busy on saturday doing chores that should have been done weeks ago - then had a bit too much fun on saturday night to more or less confine me to monosylabic grunts on sunday, but thought i’d try and get something up for now, so here are 3 doodles from friday and one from this morning, they’re dodgy quality ‘cos i used my phone to capture them, i’ll try and get round to that scanning tonight…
